      On a sunny, spring morning a baby bird waits for his yummy, buggy breakfast.  As he anxiously hops up and down, he slips and falls out of his warm nest on the roof of the airport down to the cold, hard floor of the jetbridge, ten feet below.
     Lisa, a flght attendant, discovers the baby bird shivering and begging for food.  After a ramp worker tells her they throw baby birds in the trash can,
Lisa scoops him up and takes him aboard the plane, just as the passengers begin boarding.      
    The Captain and crew name him  'Poppy' because he constantly tries to pop out of his ice bucket nest. Poppy flies all over the United States, from Florida to Dallas to New York City and back.  The  Captain presents Poppy with his 'wings' after completing his first flight with honor and bravery.
